Tell us a bit about your club history, how long has the club been around?

Our club was founded a few years ago by students at Northeastern University. The club began small, with only one female member and today has grown to over 80 members, with plenty of female representation!

Tell us a bit about your membership? What level of runners do you cater to?

Our club is suited for runners of all different levels. We have members training for distances from the 50m dash all the way up to marathons. Members can join our club whether they are looking to train seriously, or just looking for a group of cool people to run and hang out with!

Where/when does your club usually meet/run?

Our club meets Monday-Thursday and when it is nice out we meet on Friday's for "Fun Fridays" where we play frisbee instead of running. Tuesday and Thursdays are typically workout days and Mondays and Wednesdays are runouts between 3 and 8 miles.

What part of the city does your group usually run in/around?

We love to explore just about anywhere, but along the Charles is one of our favorite go to runs.

Any cost to be a member/join?

It costs $20 to casually run with us, and $50 if you would like to compete in races with the club.

Is your group affiliated with any events?

We love to participate in any NIRCA (National Intercollegiate Running Club Association) meets, as well as meets that other university club teams put on.

Any cool routes/ favourite areas to run in your city that you would like to recommend to other runners? Why do you like those?

One of our favorite routes we call "The Green T" because it follows the green line. We get to see almost every district of the city on this route, and the river on the way back!

Do you have any favourite local races?

We always enjoy the Mission Hill 5k. Typically our members have done well at this race, often taking overall female and male first place.

Anything else that we should know?

Our motto is "We run for fun!" and we mean it!
