Race Information

Lace up your shoes and be part of something huge! Produced by AID Atlanta, AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run is the largest AIDS-related fundraising event in the Southeastern United States.
Now commemorating over two decades of walking and running, AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run continues to raise much needed funds for AIDS Service Organizations throughout the metro-Atlanta area. These organizations provide essential programs and services for men, women, and children who are infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Get a group of friends together, or come on your own, to support the AIDS Walk and Run. Held in Atlanta's Piedmont Park, runners and walkers will have the opportunity to spend their afternoon on a course that takes them through the park's surrounding neighborhoods before returning to the park for the post-race festivities.

Course Information

Runners should head to the starting line on 10th Street, between Monroe and Charles Allen. From the starting line, the AIDS Walk and 5K Run route takes runners west on 10th Street to Peachtree. Runners head north on Peachtree, before making a right turn onto 15th/Peachtree Circle. A left turn on The Prado follows to take runners east and south to Piedmont. The race enters Piedmont Park at the 14th Street Gate South, where runners follow the Active Oval toward the Visitor's Center, before heading east along Lake Clara Meer to the finish line.
