Big Peach Sizzler 10K
Kick off your Labor Day celebrations by running in one of Atlanta's best known races, the Big Peach Sizzler! Runners can use this race to lock down their qualifying time for Peachtree Road Race, while supporting a good cause, cystic fibrosis research.
Beginning with the inaugural Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon in 2007, Miles for Cystic Fibrosis has hosted Teams 65ROSES and Rosebuds in races throughout the Metro Atlanta area and beyond. Team members help raise awareness and money cystic fibrosis, a life-shortening disease that affects 30,000 people in the United States.
Since 2011, Miles for Cystic Fibrosis has been proud to bring to the Atlanta race scene the Big Peach Sizzler 10K, which has now become a Labor Day tradition that thousands of runners look forward to each year.
Runners will take this fantastic 10K course and wind through the Atlanta communities of Chamblee, Brookhaven, and Buckhead. Starting at the Chamblee MARTA station, runners start out heading north, then turn south and blaze down Peachtree Road into the Buckhead community. When runners reach Piedmont Road, the course takes a right turn, down to Lenox Road. Another right turn and runners finish near the Buckhead Station Shopping Center.
