Pride Run & Walk
Organized by the Front Runners Atlanta running club, the Atlanta Pride Run is an annual 5K race and walk that brings the community together. Front Runners Atlanta is a running, walking and social club for gay people and friends. The Atlanta Pride Run is typically held the last weekend in June to coincide with the commemoration of the Stonewall riots. Proceeds from the registration and other fundraisers are donated to a local charity that supports the GLBT community in Georgia.
The Atlanta Pride Run and Walk is raced entirely in beautiful Piedmont Park. Starting and finishing at the Piedmont Park Conservatory's Greystone Building, the course loops through Piedmont Park with spectacular views of Lake Clara Meer. The course is USATF certified, making it a qualifying race for the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
