This early September Marathon, a certified Boston Qualifyer, is designed to get you to the starting line in Hopkinton. Runners from 28 states came to Last Chance BQ.2 last year to make their Boston dreams come true. And 60% of them did, taking advantage of the course, the weather, and the perks to beat their qualifying time. Take one last shot at 2016 Boston with an experienced race team whose goal is to do everything possible to get you and 300 other runners to the 2016 starting line in Hopkinton.
The 3.21 mile loop course offers plenty of shade, scenic views of parks and forest preserves bordering the river, and a glimpse of downtown Batavia.
The paved trail along both sides of the Fox Valley River is nearly pancake flat.
The path, river proximity, dawn starting time, and average lows in the mid 50’s make for a high probability of ideal racing conditions: Cool temps and low wind.
