Fox Trot 5k and 10k
Race Information
A long-running Batavia event, the Fox Trot 5k and 10k is hosted and organized by the Batavia Mother's Club.
Held in downtown Batavia, along the Batavia Riverwalk, both the 5k and 10k feature courses along the Fox River.
Awards are presented to winners of each age group and children are encouraged to participate in the children's races.
Funds raised by the run will support local charities in the Fox Valley area, as well as Batavia schools.

For 46 years, runners of all levels and abilities have supported Lincoln Park Zoo with Run for the Zoo. This run makes it easy for anyone from casual runners to elite athletes help support their favorite species at the zoo and save them in the wild.
The 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk courses are U.S.A. Track & Field-certified and chip-timed for experienced athletes. All finishers receive a unique animal-themed medal along with a race shirt.
Run for the Zoo is also designed to accommodate every member of the family, so you can make a day of it. The Kids’ Course is perfect for kids ages 2–7, who can run, climb, and crawl over playful obstacles on the South Lawn.
