Race to Wrigley
Kick off baseball season with the Annual “Race to Wrigley” 5k. Voted ‘Best 5k in the Midwest’ by Competitor magazine.
Runners finish under Wrigley Field's famous marquee in the Race to Wrigley 5k Run. The event is presented by ATI Physical Therapy, which starts and finishes at legendary Wrigley Field, helping runners and sponsors show their support for a good cause. Once again, personal fundraising proceeds will benefit Lurie Children's - after you sign up for the race, they encourage you to register as a fundraiser and make every step count.
Discounted bleacher tickets will be available in February for the Race to Wrigley Post-Race Celebration. A ticket link will be emailed to all registered Race to Wrigley runners in order to purchase tickets.
The course starts at the intersection of Addison and Clark then proceeds through the wide, straight streets of the Lakeview neighborhood. Runners head down W. Addison and turn right on N. Ravenswood Ave. where they'll hit the mile marker. Then it's a right on W. Irving Park Rd., followed after a bit by a left on N. Southport Ave.
At the 2 mile mark there is a hairpin right turn onto N. Clark St. followed by a straight shot back to Wrigley field. The course loops around the stadium, jaunts through the ground level concourse then finishes in front of Wrigley.
