Dash Down Greenville 5K
Throw on something green and join the St. Patrick's Day celebration at the St. Paddy's Day Dash Down Greenville. Everyone's Irish for the day as the throng assembles at the start to run (or walk) down Greenville Avenue right before the big parade. There will be beer, food, a live band, cash prizes, and lots more fun. Besides having fun, you'll get to contribute to the North Texas Food Bank, the annual beneficiary of the event.
Did you know that this race is part of a series of runs? If you like this race you may want to run one of the following Run Project - Dallas events.
The run starts at Greenville and E. Lovers Lane, then turns right on Southwestern Blvd. just before the one mile mark. At about the halfway mark, the course turns right on Skillman St. and proceeds through mile two. Next comes a right turn onto E. University Blvd. which returns runners back to Greenville. The final right turn onto Greenville leaves runners about a half mile to cover to the finish. There is one hill to reckon with in the middle of the course.
