Runnin' of the Green 7k
St. Patrick's Day in Denver is always a scene, but there's not better way to start the celebration off than with a run. Runnin' of the Green is a family friendly race (or walk) that is centered around the Irish celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day and Spring. You'll be running a 7K with thousands of other runners, all dressed in green of course!
Need more reasons to run the green? The post-race party has been voted the best and thosands of dollars are donated to Volunteers of America. Also, be sure to bring your I.D. if you want enjoy a beer or two after your run. Runnin' of the Green only gets bigger and better, be sure to reserve your spot in the race today!
Runnin' of the Green is an annual Denver tradition that brings thousands of runners to the downtown area. The start line is on 17th Street, just in between Blake and Wazee Streets. The course follows 17th Street to Market Street. From Market, runners turn left on 20th Street and run past Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. As the course delves deeper into Denver, runners will be met with water and aid stations, before turning around and heading back to the finish line on 20th and Wazee.
