The Justice Run
The Justice Run is a family-friendly event focused on raising money and awareness for human trafficking and its victims. There are options for beginners and experienced runners alike: a 10K run, a 5K run and walk and 1K kids run are all on the docket for a fun filled day.
The race is professionally timed and of course there are awards following the race. Every runner will get a shirt, goody-bag, post-race meal and raffle entry. After the race, runners and their families are invited to the post race party for delicious food, beverages, raffle prizes and kids' activities.
Both the 5k and 10k races follow the Platte River on the paved Mary Carter GreenwayTrail. Both courses are flat and fast, with aid stations available to help runners along the way. Runners will also get to experience the breathtaking views of the Platte River, the mountains and the Colorado countryside in the fall. After leaving Hudson Gardens runners will make their way out on the trails before returning to finish the race.
