The Alhambra Pumpkin Run 5K is one of Alhambra’s biggest annual city wide events. The race brings more than 2,000 runners to the event and the run moves through the beautiful streets of Alhambra. Get to know your neighbors as they cheer you on during your run. Neighbors make lemonade stands, cheer you on with signs and bring you to the finish line with music, cheers and laughter.
There is also a 1K run for kids, broken down by age groups.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
