Celebrate Day of the Dead at Los Muertos 5k! This fun run/walk has live music and performers on the course, so whether you're running, walking or dancing, you'll be entertained the whole way! Every participant gets a beautiful finisher medal, race shirt, and goodies from the expo! Continue the celebration at the post-race Dia de los Muertos Festival at Historic Olvera Street.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
