The Dino Dash 5k/10k rallies the community together in support of over 24,000 students within Tustin Unified School Disrict. All proceeds benefit the non-profit Tustin Public Schools Foundation and local public schools. The 5k and 10k are timed events, and there is also a 2k fun run. Following the races there is an expo with food and entertainment.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
