XTERRA Laguna Beach Trail Run offers a 13k long course as well as a 6k short course. The trail runs takes place in conjunction with the XTERRA Laguna Beach Triathlon and is now a part of the official XTERRA SoCal Trail Run series. It is race #2 of the XTERRA SoCal Trail Run Series.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
