Apple Blossom Races

Apple Blossom Races
Date May 2017 (TBD)
Distance 5k, 10k, Half-marathon, Fun Run
Course Type Road

Race Information

Run along bluffs overlooking the St. Croix River, this is a challenging, beautiful race. Walkers are welcome on the 5K only, and the half marathon is fairly hilly. The 10K is a mix of trail and road.

All races start at the St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park, three miles north of the Nature Center on County Road 21. Runners are chauffeured to the starting line. The finish line for all three events is at the Nature Center’s interpretive center.

This could be the perfect place for you to really test your stamina! In the beautiful surroundings of the Nature Center's apple orchards in full Spring bloom.

Course Information

After registration at the Nature Center, runners are chauffeured to the starting line where maps, clothing check, water and portable toilets are available.

The 5K route is all paved, and the 10K shares some of the same path before following nearly four miles of the Nature Center's unpaved trails.

The half marathon is hilly, and the route covers some local roads near the Nature Center and then winds through and pass many of the area apple orchards, most of which should be in full bloom!

Water and split-timers are spread throughout the course, and the 2K Fun Run will start as soon as the last half marathon runner finishes.
