Drumstick Dash 10K
The Drumstick Dash 10K is a great way to work up your Thanksgiving Day appetite. Get the whole family together and take two laps around beautiful Lake Harriet. The course is fully certified by the USATF. The morning starts off with the popular Cranberry Cruise One Mile run, followed quickly by the Cranberry Kids Half Mile. The Drumstick Dash kicks off at 8am along with the Pi Run, a quirky 3.14 mile race celebrating the mathematical figure, Pi!
The Drumstick Dash 10K is a way to bring family and friends together before the big meal. So before you sit down to eat and watch football, get active and go for a run.
Both The Drumstick Dash 10K and the Pi Run take place at beautiful Lake Harriet. The courses both share the same start and finish lines. Runners in the Pi Run will take one lap around the lake. The course for the Pi Run is not USATF certified. Runners in the Drumstick Dash 10K will take two laps around the lake, with each lap clocking in at a little over 3.1 miles. The course is moderately hilly on north and south ends, flat on east and west sides.
