2017 Moustache Run | Minneapolis

Moustache Run

Moustache Run
Date Nov 2017 (TBD)
Distance 5k, 10k, Half-marathon
Course Type Road

Race Information

Every year, thousands of people participate in "Movember November," keep facial hair long in support of men's health. While sporting a Growvember ‘stache is an admirable deed, you can also challenge yourself to a race to raise awareness and support for prostate cancer. Join your fellow facial fur-loving men and women in a celebratory 5K, 10K, or half marathon before you shave off your stache. Only one moustache will finish first, but men everywhere will win as a portion of the proceeds from the race will go to benefit prostate cancer research.

Held on the Minneapolis riverfront, you can count on another round of great participation, spirited festivities, and impressive facial hair.

Course Information

Runners in each of the races will be running along the banks of the Mississippi River. Depending on which race is run, the course will take runners across the Stone Arch Bridge, University of Minnesota campus and much more. It will be cold in the Twin Cities at the end of November, so runners are encouraged to dress accordingly.
