Race Information
The Dion Ignite the Night Snowshoe Race features a 5k and 10k loop snowshoe run around historic Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, ON. The buildings and paths along the course are lit up in the dark, creating a one-of-a-kind magical backdrop. The trail takes you through the village and into a single track openfield flagged course. Participants are encouraged to bring headlamps for this part of the course as it is not well illuminated. The course is mainly flat and fast with the exception of one hille that is climbed twice for 5k runners and four times for the 10k race.
Headlamps are not provided. A limited number of snowshoes are available for rental and the race is capped at 250 entries.
