La Jolla Half Marathon
Bucket list alert! We try not to gush about runs too much (lies...) but the La Jolla Half Marathon is a seriously gorgeous point to point road race. This large, and popular half marathon takes runners along a wide open oceanfront course from the del Mar Fairgrounds to La Jolla cove.
The field does tend to sell out each year at a capacity of just over 7,000 runners. Expect to be blown away by the scenery, and challenged with a few fun little on course hill climbs.
Bonus fact! The La Jolla half marathon is part of the ViaSat half marathon triple crown. To earn the Triple crown runners need to complete the following races in a single calendar year:
