Race Information

Yes it's a race, but it'a a party too! The San Diego Santa Run is a holiday blast happening on Pacific Beach on Garnet Ave. All 5K participants will receive a Sunny Santa Suit: hat, short sleeve jacket, shorts, belt and beard!  All 5K participants will also receive one drink ticket (21+) and a pair of San Diego Santa Run sunglasses! The post race bash includes the annual Pacific Beach Holiday Parade. There is also a Speedy Santa Mile run, Santa's Elves Mile for kids 12 & under, and the Santa's Little Helper Mile Dog Run!

Run Pick of the Month - Thrive Half Marthon

 San Diego's most scenic half marathon is happening on November 2, 2024.

The Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon & 5K features an ulta scenic loop course through the heart of Mission Bay. Expect fast and flat stretches, bay views, and mellow ocean breezes along the entire course.

This run has been a regular addition to the San Diego race calendar (going on 8 years!). This year they have added a brand new half marathon relay, allowing you to split the distance with a friend and cross the finish line together!

Registration is now open for all categories including the 5k run/walk, half marathon, and half marthon relay.
