NW Trail Runs' Summer Series: Redmond Watershed
Redmond Watershed Preserve features a flat to moderate-grade course with a few short steeper climbs. The entire course is lined with beautiful forest of Douglas firs, lush ferns and layered with moss--a quintessential Pacific Northwest forest. The trail is primarily a wide dirt or gravel path, and is great for beginners and fun for veteran trail runners. This is a fast course by trail running standards!
The Summer Evening Trail Series takes place on 6 Tuesday evenings in some of the most verdant running destinations that are conveniently located within the Seattle and Eastside areas. Distances are short, ranging from 4k to 10 miles at most. Join us for 4 or more Summer Evening Trail Series runs and you'll earn a souvenier (TBA) to mark your achievement!
There will be 5 & 10 mile events. The 5-mile course is a lollipop loop, with runners leaving the start and returning to the finish via the same trail. The 10-mile course is two times around the 5-mile course.
