Celebrate over 50 years of friendly competition in the South Sound. Whether it's their signature 12k route with challenging hills, spectacular water views, the occasional forest critter and trees that touch the sky - or the fast 5k route, be assured that you are a part of something bigger than yourself. For the younger athletes, the also event offers the Sound to Narrows 2k race or the ever-competitive 20-yard Diaper Dash for the wee ones.
Run Pick of the Month - Jewel of the Valley
Run along the Yakima Greenway Trail - May 11, 2024.
This race is part of the Run Super Series, it features a 5k, 10k, half, and full marathon.
One of the things we like is the terrain on the course. The run follows the mostly flat Yakima Greenway, however, you'll get full views of wineries, crops, and undulating terrain unique to the region.
Expect well supported out and back courses that are USATF certified (BQ eligible). Every participant will end up with a finisher medal and custom race shirt and a neck gaiter.
