Spartan Race Seattle Super
Welcome to Fort Lewis, home of the only U.S. Army power-projection base west of the Rocky Mountains. This venue is located just south of Seattle and west of the Cascade Range. Although it does not have the elevation or steep climbs of a mountain venue, do not expect to have anything left after battling this course -- in true military fashion, it will take all you’ve got to complete it.
TOP REASONS TO TAKE ON THIS COURSE:
1. Spartan Races held at military bases have a different feel than other venues. They are held on location where our troops live and train.
2. There will be special military style obstacles, seen only at races held in military-hosted locations. Catch a taste of the obstacles our armed servicemen train with to prepare for battle.
3. It is located less than 10 miles from Seattle. Take a short drive before or after completing the course to check out the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium and all that Seattle has to offer.
4. Visit Mt. Rainier. While flying in and out of Seattle it is impossible to miss views of this Northwest icon. Experience it for yourself and check out a few of the many hikes in Mt. Rainier National Park.
