The route is also one of the easiest and fastest courses in the country, so it’s great for a first time racer, or someone in the middle of a taper for a longer race. Starting and ending at Sporting Life Toronto, this is an event worth running in, and the ticket sales reflect that, as they frequently sell out regardless of the cap being held at around 25,000.

This race is Toronto’s oldest 10k, and it’s longevity is attributed to it being a flat, easy run with varied surfaces. Runner will encounter grass, boardwalk, and pavement, and can expect accurate time markers at each mile, and each kilometer. A disposable timing chip attached to your race bib ensures an accurate time for this possible PR setting course. Be a part of tradition as you run this scenic course across Toronto Island.

Oasis Zoo Run

Oasis Zoo Run

The course’s elevation varies throughout the route, and there are a few hilly challenges awaiting participants, including the uphill finish. The entire event is well known as being organized and pleasant, with the cap at 3000 participants preventing the course from getting too congested.
