The Tannenbaum 10k
Date December 4, 2016
Distance 10k
Course Type Road

Race Information

This early December 10k put on by the Beaches Runners Club is one of the city’s most festive foot races. The flat, fast route along the lakefront is perfect for runners looking to test their speed during the racing ‘shoulder season’. This event has a reputation for being small but not too small: you’ll find chip timing, bag check and some tough competition, but there’s little chance of crowding on the course and parking shouldn’t pose a challenge.

Course Information

The race starts at the bottom of Lee Avenue in Kew Gardens Park and heads east along the Martin Goodman Trail and out to the Leslie Street Spit. You'll score some great wintery views on the spit before turning around and retracing the route back to the start/finish line.
