Forever Young 8K

As the organizers describe it...

There are many senior (55+) walkers and runners in our communities who should be recognized and honoured for their commitment to fitness. The Forever Young 8K is for seniors! We don’t want to be a small part of a big running event – we want to have our own running event!  The Forever Young 8K is an event that celebrates active seniors and will set an example that will encourage all seniors to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Course Information

The Forever Young 8K race starts at Garry Point Park just west of Steveston Village in Richmond.

The route is an out and back on the West Dyke alongside beautiful Sturgeon Banks. The dyke course is flat and consists of compact gravel so hills are not a factor on this course. Expect mulitple water stations along the route.
