Road Runs


The Canada Beer Run

Date: September 10, 2017
Distance: 13k, 8k

The Canada Beer Run starts with beer and ends with beer. With some more beer in the middle. How much beer is up to you! There's an 8k and a 13k course mapped for this year's Canada Beer Run in Ottawa, both beginning at Beyond the Pale Brewery. Love to drink beer and run? This is definitely the event for you.

Terry Fox Run Ottawa

Date: September 17, 2017
Distance: 5k, 10k

Terry Fox was a Canadian hero and each year his memory is honoured with the Terry Fox Run. Runners fundraise for cancer research, much like Terry did during his Marathon of Hope. There are a number of places to participate in the Terry Fox Run, including downtown Ottawa, Ottawa East, and Kanata.

RBC Race for Kids

Date: September 24, 2017
Distance: 5k, 10k

The RBC Race for Kids is held in Wesley Clover Parks, an all-terrain closed course in the National Capital Greenbelt that surrounds Ottawa. Proceeds from the run/walk will go towards youth mental health programs at CHEO.

Moonlight River Run

Date: September 30, 2017
Distance: 5k, 10k, 15k

September is just cool enough that night time runs become exhilirating. Follow the Gatineau River to some of the most beautiful parts of Wakefield. Finish up with live music, hot chili and a celebration under the stars with the residents of La Peche, QC.

Trail Runs


Sri Chinmoy 10k and Half-marathon

Date: September 10, 2017
Distance: 10k, half-marathon, relay

The Stri Chinmoy 10k and half-marathon is organized on Gatineau Park's trail system, starting at the picturesque Huron Lodge. Runners are treated to a post-race pancake breakfast.

Midnight Moose Ultra

Date: September 22-23, 2017
Distance: 25k, 50k, 110k

Hey, you know what would be more fun than an Ultra trail race? A night time Ultra trail race! You get a headlamp and you can use the stars and moon to help you get through this challenging course through Gatineau Park before sunrise (for the 50k) or sunset the following day (the 110k course). Maybe you'll run into a moose along the way, too...

Obstacle Course Races


Zombie Run for Humanity

Date: September 30, 2017
Distance: 5k OCR

This 5k OCR has an added undead element that will quicken your pace through the fun but challenging obstacles. It's a popular fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity and a lot of fun, too.
