Get ready to feel like you're running over water. No really, this 10 k is a double out and back over the Kemah - Seabrook Bridge. You will be running over Clear Lake while looking out over a view of the bay. This fun but challenging road 10k draws a few thousand people each year. Join the masses and enjoy the views from on top of the bridge.

The Houston Run for Recovery 5K event is celebrating National Recovery month with this community event in downtown Houston. September is the month to honor and show support to those that are recovering from alcohol and drug addictions. Come out to this fantastic event and embrace a healthy lifestyle free of substance use.

Run Houston! University of Houston

The fourth race in the Run Houston! Series showcases the beautiful Houston Campus Area. A 5k loop around the campus, that 10k racers do twice, gives competitors a view of all the wonderful sights. Enjoy a great post-race party at Lynn Eusan Park. This event offers a 5k, 10k, 1k kids run and Virtual Race options.

The Houston Astros and the Houston Police Department team up for this 5k and 10k running event. The event benefits the foundations of each respectively and is an exciting and fun day for kids and adults alike. Enjoy finishing the race on the field at Minute Maid Park and get your picture taken at Home Plate!

Wicked Wine Run

Wicked Wine Run

This event brings together running, wine, and the outdoors. What more could you ask for? An awesome post-race party? Well this event has that too. The Wicked Wine run takes place at the Silverwood Country Retreat just outside of Houston. Get your costumes ready, and head out for a fun evening event with your friends.

Distance: 100m, 100k, 50k, 25k, 10k, and Relays 

Come out for this awesome weekend event in the "Trail Racing Over Texas" Series. This trail race takes you along single-track trails, open meadows, and through creeks as you explore the 7IL Range. A wide range of distances provides something for everyone to challenge themselves and enjoy the weekend with friends.

Purple Monkey Fun Run

Purple Monkey Run

Distance: 5k, 10k, and 1k Kids Run

The Purple Monkey Fun Run is a wonderful community event in support of the Benjamin James Garcia Memorial Fund. Purple Shirts, costumes, medals, and of course purple stuffed animal monkeys comprise the fun filled atmosphere. The event kicks off with a 1k Kids run on the Alvin High School Track followed by the 5k and 10k Run.

Galveston Island Shrimp Festival 5K

Galveston Island Shrimp Festival 5k

Finally! Your chance to dress up like a Shrimp! Come out to the Galveston Island Shrimp Festival, throw on your shrimp costume and run a fun 5k along the Seawall Boulevard.
