Starry Night Boston 8.5k

Date: September 9, 2017
Distance: 8.5k

If you enjoy running in the evening then this is the event for you! The Starry Night races are 8.5K in distance - the approximate distance that 28,000 steps carries you. There are 28,000 children living with a brain tumor, and funds raised at this special event provide critically needed research and support for local families navigating a child's brain tumor diagnosis.

Ragnar Reach The Beach

Date: September 15-16, 2017
Distance: Ultra, Relay

The Ragnar Relay is a multi stage, point to point team relay race covering hundreds of kilometers in one straight shot. Ragnar Reach the Beach is one of the oldest and longest relay races in the United States. The late summer/early fall race is ideal for runners who love fall foliage colours and the iconic New England east coast. Teams can choose to run the relay in regular distances (teams of 12) or the ultra option (teams of 6).

Runners wanting to check out the streets of Salem this is the event for you. This will be the 10th Annual Wicked Half Marathon in historic Salem, MA. Runners can participate in the USATF Certified Half Marathon. Participants have 4 hours to complete this course. The course will have a water station ever 1.5 miles and there will be a ton of cheerful volunteers on the course.

Brighton Bangers 5k

Date: September 16, 2017

If you are looking for a fun and friendly running crew come check out the Brighton Bangers 5k. The course follows a shaded riverside loop beginning and ending at Community Rowing’s Harry Parker Boathouse, followed by an afternoon of free beer and live music from four great bands.

Island Run

Looking for an excuse to checkout Spectacle Island? The Island Run takes you to Spectacle Island where you can either run a 5k or a 5-miler along the trails. Your registration includes a round trip ferry ticket, post-race celebratory beer and lunch. This event is for 21+ participants. After the event, all of the participants will get to take a cruise around the Boston Habor before returning home.

Race 2 The Summit

Distances: 5k, Half Marathon

Runners looking for a challenging road race with a mountain climb this is the event for you. Runners will not only endure a lengthy run, but will also have to deal with elevation changes. For the 5k there will be at least 1000 feet of elevation change, while the half-marathon will feature over 2000 feet of elevation change.
