Runner’s World has called the Portland Marathon “the best people’s marathon in the West” and for the past ten years has ranked it as one of the top 10 or 15 marathons in the country.

Bay to Brews

Distance: 10k / Half Marathon

Take a ride out to coastal Newport, Oregon for this 10k or Half Marathon over a gorgeous course that includes both forest and coast. At the finish, there is the promise of superior beer, and Mo's famous clam chowder!

Elk-King's Mountain Traverse

Distance: 15-mile, 50K

The Elk King's Mountain Traverse features two courses in the Tillamook Forest, a 15-mile and a 50K. Each course has it's own signature to it. Runners opting for something more technical should look to the 15 miler, while longer distance enthusiasts will want to have a look at the 50k + option.

Girlfriends Run for a Cure Half and Quarter Marathon

Date: October 15, 2017
Distance: 6.55k / Half Marathon

Chocolate, toffee, beer, massages and firemen are all waiting at the finish line for you. And if you're worried about whether you can run the quarter or half marathon, don't worry, there are many participants that either walk or run it, or do a combination of both.

Run Like Hell

Date: October 22, 2016
Distance: 5k, 10k, Half-marathon

Run Like Hell is a Halloween-themed race that sees participants dress out in full costume for a run through Portland’s urban parks and along its waterfront areas along the Willamette River. The run has become a Portland Fall tradition with more than 4,000 runners coming out on an annual basis to participate.

Taking place at  the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Course in Aloha, Oregon, the Halloweenathon features runs over 5k, 10k and 15k as well as a 15k relay and kid's runs. There is also the Run For Your Bones event with 7 check points to complete Halloween tasks. Did we mention the post-race feast staged by Famous Dave's BBQ?

Autumn Leaves 50/50
