Seattle Runs You Might Like - October
Halloween is just around the corner! It is time to get out your costumes and running shoes to head out for some of these exciting runs in the Seattle Area
Date: October 1, 2017
Distance: 5k, 1-mile
Both races start and end in Olde Burien, where runners and the community are surrounded by a day-long party called “Bavarianfest” – complete with beer gardens, plenty of brat, oompah music, live rock bands, kids’ activities and frivolity!

The Seattle UW Dawg Dash has been a UW tradition since 1985. It's a very popular annual event that brings out thousands of participants and helps support student scholorships and the alumni association.

The West Seattle Monster Dash is a Halloween-themed race held each year on the Saturday before Halloween in Lincoln Park, West Seattle. It includes both a costume-friendly 5k trail run/walk and two Little Monsters' Dashes (kids' runs) with prizes awarded for speed and costumes.

Distance: 20-miles, 50K
The Cougar Mountain Trail Series happen in Cougar Mountain Park just outside of Seattle. These fantastic trail events help raise money for King County Parks, and have been happening since 2003!
