Hot Cider Hustle

Race of The Dead

Date: November 4, 2017
Distances: 5k

Come celebrate El Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead in Pilsen, Chicago's most culturally rich and vibrant neighborhood. The Carrera de los Muertos/Race of the Dead 5k generally sells out so be sure to register early. 

Runners are cheered on with entertainment throughout the race including live mariachis, traditional folkloric dance groups and Chicago house music DJs. The post-race party provides authentic Mexican and Latin American food set to music in a traditional Day of the Dead setting.

Lincolnwood Turkey Trot

Lace up your running shoes for the 41st annual Lincolnwood Turkey Trot (1976-2017)! This CARA Certified, chip-timed 5K/10K race and 5K fitness walk features a flat, fast course perfect for novice as well as experienced runners and walkers. For the kids there will be a Drumstick 50 & 100 yard dash.

The Chicago Turkey Trot is a popular annual Thanksgiving 5k and 8k run (plus a kids race!) that supports the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The run is centered around the Turkey Day Tailgate, where runners can take part in activities like Corn Hole, Football Toss, Turkey Bowling and more, while sipping on warm apple cider.

Rotary Run 3.14 Pie

A delicious Thanksgiving Day run hosted by The Rotary Club of La Grange, IL. The race (3.14 miles) winds through the scenic streets of La Grange mid-village. The first 2000 registrants will also receive a free Sara Lee pie!

Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot

The Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot is an annual 5K fun run in Elmhurst (jsut outside of Chciago) on Thanksgiving. Thousands of runners come to help eradicate hunger in DuPage county.

Schaumburg Half Marathon & 5k Turkey Trot

Celebrate the end of the season at one of Chicagoland's largest half marathon & 5k events. The event offers a relatively flat, scenic, USATF certified paved course. There is also a 5k Run/Walk for those who want to participate in something a bit shorter.
