The Thanksgiving weekend Turkey Trot is a running community tradition!

Wilderness Oak PTA Turkey Trot 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run

The Wilderness Oak PTA Turkey Trot is the only race in Panther Springs Park and the only Turkey Trot in Stone Oak! The race begins at the trail head behind Wilderness Oak Elementary then winds along the hilly Panther Springs trail. Receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and help support our local school!

Boerne Family YMCA Turkey Trot

The Turkey Trot is one of the Hill Country's top races and well worth checking out this Thanksgiving! The race starts in the west by the Main Plaza in Boerne, Texas and follows the Old #9 trail. The event also offers a Fun Trail Walk and a Youth Mini race making it a family friendly event that is fun for all on this holiday morning.

San Antonio Food Bank Turkey Trot

The San Antonio Food Bank's Turkey Trot 5K is a chip-timed Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning with the purpose of fighting hunger in the community. This family and pet friendly event is one of the few races through the King William District and Downtown San Antonio.

SARR Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Celebrate Thanksgiving with the San Antonio Road Runners Turkey Trot. This beautiful and scenic 4 mile course runs along paved roads. A costume contest with pumpkin pies and a drawing for free smoked Turkeys are the highlights of the post race party. Proceeds from this race go to support the SARR Scholarship Fund.
