Vancouver Runs You Might Like - December

December; the month that runners start to consume extra jars of nutella in order to store calories before their winter hibernation cycle begins.

Lynn Valley Adventure Run

Date: December 10, 2017
Distance: As much as you can do in 1.5 hours, 3 hours, or 5 hours

The people that brought you last month's Super Mini Itsy Bitsy Barkely are back with the Lynn Valley Adventure Run! This style of race will have checkpoints scattered around the Lynn Valley/Rice Lake/McCartney Creek area, each with different point values. Competitors will have to try come up with (and subsequently follow) an optimal route to collect as many points as they can within their chosen time limit.

The terrain around the North Shore is a nice mix of beginner friendly trails and roads that are closer to the start/finish and some more technical terrain further away. It should offer a good introduction for anyone new, while providing others with the opportunity to explore some of North Vancouver's exotic plant life!
