Toronto Runs You Might Like - January

Toronto Runs You Might Like - January

Yo, Toronto - are you feeling that deep freeze yet? If you're not totally hibernating this winter, lace 'em up and head out for these brisk January races.

Hair of the Dog Fun Run

Date: January 1, 2018
Distance: 3k, 9k

Toronto's Beach neighbourhood has some of the best races in the whole city. Some people love to take a Polar Bear dip after the race. Given the wind chill warnings we've been having lately, it might be a smaller crew taking the dip this year. But who knows? Maybe the weather will warm up just in time!

MEC Toronto Road Race ONE

Date: January 21, 2018
Distance: 5k, 10k

The first MEC Toronto road race, called simply "The Winter Run", takes place on the Martin Goodman Trail in the west-end. Cheap and cheerful as always, there will be bananas!

Robbie Burns Road Race

Date: January 28, 2018
Distance: 8k

Have you ever tried to read a Robbie Burns poem? It's easier to run 8k in the dead of winter in a kilt. Warm up with a pint and a plate of haggis afterwards.
