Chicago Runs You Might Like - February
Looking to get out running in your underwear this February? We've picked a few Chicago area races here that you may want to keep an eye on when planning your next run.
Date: February 10, 2018
Distance: 1 Mile
Ever thought you’d just love to run through town in the middle of winter wearing only your underwear? Well, we’ve got just the race for you! And even better, it’s for a great cause. Throw on your best tighty-whities for this Valentine’s weekend one(ish) mile dash through the streets of Wrigleyville, in aid of Children's Tumor Foundation.
Date: February 11, 2017
Cupid's Love Dash is an annual winter 5k race that happens in Highland Park. If you're up for braving the cold you'll get rewarded with a fun race, and at least one candy filled aid station!
Date: February 24, 2018
Distance: 5k, 10k
Billed as the “only 10k in the first quarter of the year” in Chicago, this Montrose Harbor race has a carnival atmosphere, with masks and beads available for all participants to wear. It’s not all party mode though - there’s a serious race at the front, with last year’s winners coming through in under 35 mins (men) and 38 minutes (women) respectively! There’s a 5k option for those who like their runs a little shorter.
