Tell us a bit about yourself and the club?
I'm an experienced runner and triathlete who loves endurance sports. The Woodcreek Runners is a small but growing club.
Tell us a bit about your members. What level of runner do you cater to?
We work with all levels of runners from 5k to marathon distances. Woodcreek Runners is a new club looking for participants.
Where/when does your club usually meet/run?
Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings from Woodbine Square
Are your group runs mostly casual or more structured workouts?
Mostly casual runs.
Any cost to be a member/join?
No cost. Run coaching available in the future, cost to be determined.
Is your group affiliated with any events?
Not at this time.
Any cool routes/ favourite areas to run in your city that you would like to recommend to other runners? Why do you like those?
Close to several Fish Creek routes, there's a quiet road and trail running.
Do you have any favourite local races? Outside of anything that you're affiliated with of course :)
Hypo Half, Police Half, Calgary Marathon, Calgary 70.3, Footstock, Last Chance Half.
Anything else that we should know?
Woodcreek Runners is a small but growing group of runners who love the active and healthy lifestyle in Southwest Calgary
