This 5 Peaks event at Sikome Lake is the first event in the Central Alberta race series.
Hosted on the beautiful trails in Fish Creek Park starting at Sikome Beach area, and running out past the Bow Valley Ranch Visitor Centre is the spot to kick off this series. This course is largely flat, with a few steep hills thrown in for fun!
You will run from the Sikome parking lot up through a forest, down a hill, along the river, past the Ranch House and out into the trails on the north side of Fish Creek.
The trail race features a variety of distances, including the 6.8 km Sports Course and the 11.3 km Enduro Course. The event also has a couple of options for the kids -- the 1 km Children's Challenge and the 3 km Timed Kids' Race. Fun trail running for everyone!
