Banff Ekiden Relay
Ekiden are relay races that typically cover distances from 5km to 200km. The Banff Ekiden relay race covers 42.195 km, which is a full marathon distance and has five relay runners covering various distances. Runners can choose which leg to run when they register their team. The Ekiden can now be run in a solo division as well.
The relay race will take place in scenic Banff National Park. Each leg starts and finishes at The Cave & Basin historical site. The Banff Ekiden Relay race takes place in Banff National Park. Runners can expect rolling hills, stunning views and maybe a little bit of wildlife.
