Harvesting Hope 5k
The Harvesting Hope 5k is a Thanksgiving Day run that raises both awareness and funds for Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), a chromosomal disorder affecting several families in Denver with 1 out of 15,000 births each year. PWS is the leading cause of genetic morbid childhood obesity.
The 5k takes place in northeast Denver in the Stapleton neighborhood along gravel and paved trails through Central Park and Westerly Creek. Kids can participate for free in a 1k fun run. Strollers and dogs are allowed on the 5k route.
