First Responders Half Marathon
The First Responders Half Marathon (formerly EPF Half Marathon) is an annual half, 10k, and 5k run that kicks off the spring running season. The run supports a number of local charitable initiatives.
The race started in the early spring of 2008 when two Constables within the Edmonton Police Service came together due to a common interest and passion for running. After having participated in numerous athletic events the question arose as to why Edmonton didn't have a spring half marathon to kick off the race season.
