Race Information

The Whiskey Basin Trail Runs take place in and around the mile city of Prescott, Arizona, along the scenic Prescott Circle Trail, which encompasses the entire town. The 91-kilometer trail run runs the entire circle loop, starting and finishing at Watson Lake Park. The shorter events begin at various points along the circle trail and return via point-to-point courses to the stunning finish at Watson Lake, with the majestic Granite Dell rock formation as the finish line view.

The 60K and 33K also run point-to-point along sections of the Prescott Circle Trail. The race also features the stunningly beautiful, equally tough but shorter 10K and Half-Marathon. With a fun mix of flat gravel paths, rocky scrambles, and winding single track, expect to be WOW'd by the variety and beauty of a course that highlights the Granite Dells and Watson Lake! All distances also finish at Watson Lake with the majestic views of Granite Dell rock formation.

Join one of the USA's most scenic and diverse trail run experiences in the country as you tour from the desert grasslands, through Ponderosa Pine forests, past lakes, and around the granite dells with sweeping views across Central and Northern Arizona.
