The Oakland Turkey Trot is run on the classic flat & fast 5k course around Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. The Oakland Turkey Trot is on a mission to raise impactful funds for the Alameda County Community Food Bank and Oakland's Public Schools. The event is partnered with the City of Oakland, the mayor and local corporate sponsors and friends to bring you an authentic local experience that is fun, inclusive and promotes healthy living.
Run Pick of the Month - The Donut Fun Run
Enjoy a timed, donut-themed 5k race on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Taking part at Alameda Seaplane Lagoon Promenade, you'll run past epic views of San Francisco Bay and the Seaplane Lagoon Naval Ships.
Celebrate post-run with the Donut Festival, featuring live music, live entertainment including The Dancing Donuts, food booths, wine and beer, photo ops, and of course, donuts from Donut Petit.
Battle it out after the race in the donut eating contest, with the first prize winner taking away $1000! You must have completed the race to enter!
