Race Information

The Big Sur International Marathon is a point-to-point course on scenic CA Highway 1 from Big Sur to Carmel. High-rising redwoods, coastal cliffs, lush pastures, and crashing waves are the highlights of this bucket list course. The marathon's centerpiece is the iconic Bixby Bridge, located halfway through the race. Along the course, you’ll enjoy the unique sight and sound of a tuxedo-wearing concert pianist playing a Yamaha AvantGuard N3 piano.

Besides the marathon, you can choose from races in 5k, 12k, 11mi, and 12mi categories or team up to participate in the marathon relay.
