The annual Mt. Nebo Marathon race is a true Canyon Marathon with 25 miles of the race in Payson Canyon! Run along the scenic Mt. Nebo Loop down Payson Canyon and gaze on the panoramic views of Mount Nebo, the Utah Valley, and Utah Lake far below. Choose from different distances - the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K, and enjoy the sights of the beautiful Payson Canyon. You won’t find a more beautiful race.  Running down this canyon allows you to partake in all of its tranquil beauty. Runners will experience a few hills during the first half of the course, but the last 16 miles are completely downhill, which makes this marathon course super fast.
