The Rocket City Marathon has been a fixture in North Alabama for over 45 years. Enjoy a scenic tour that rambles by Cosmic Christ, through Blossomwood, past rows of tombstones, downtown, uptown, around town, Campus 805, a mountainous endeavor, UAH, the US Space & Rocket Center, the Botanical Gardens, and Lowe Mill before returning to Big Spring Park and an indoor finish at the VBC. Our grandest tour is not for the faint of heart, but the reward is immeasurable.
