Race Information
The Austin Sunshine Run races on certified 5K and 10K courses along W Cesar Chavez St. in downtown Austin, parallel to beautiful Lady Bird Lake. The event aims to provide a great experience for the whole family with its 5K and 10K options, the Fastest Dog in Austin 5K, and the Kids K.
All of the proceeds and funds raised from the Sunshine Run benefit historically underinvested youth of Central Texas through life-changing experiences at the Austin Sunshine Camps (ASC) at no cost to their families. Campers receive a free ten-day, nine-night Summer Camp experience at the Zilker Park and Lake Travis facilities.
