Start and Finish at Atwater Brewery! Atwater Brewery's Grower Gallop 10 Mile and 5K is an annual celebration of running, community, and Detroit! The race starts and finishes at the famous Atwater Brewery in Downtown Detroit. The 10-mile course will take you along the Riverwalk and around Belle Isle, while the 5K will use the Riverwalk and loop back around just before the bridge to Belle Isle. The 5K is walker and stroller-friendly! Participants have enjoyed the Growler Gallop for over a decade, and the event features great music, medals, and beer for all participants, plus awards including Growlers filled with Atwater beer and cash prizes!
