Race along the Arroyo bike path in this flat, fast event. Great for runners of all stripes, the route kicks off from Rancho Simi Park and makes its way along scenic the tree-lined bike path. Come along for the epic race day atmosphere or for the unique finisher's medal.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
