Earth Day 5K Bee Run/ Walk, Boom Island Park, Minneapolis, is the only National Park offering scenic views of the Mississippi River! Family-friendly, dogs welcome - on a course through one of the city's most historic and naturally beautiful areas. Bee the change! Costumes are encouraged. Before and after the 5K, learn about efforts to protect pollinators, and their habitat, and Earth Day festivities for the whole family. Take part in an organized river cleanup. Please save our bees and their habitat by participating in this National Movement! This event is organized by the Great River Coalition, the National Park Service, and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.
